About Enumerate and Role Overview

Enumerate seeks a dedicated Staff Accountant to enhance our team. Our mission is to develop and support leading community association management software, providing tailored accounting solutions to our clients. This position entails handling bank reconciliations and preparing financial statements specifically for our Financial Services clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bank reconciliations for multiple association bank accounts diligently.
• Accurately prepare and distribute timely financial statements for associations.
• Create and maintain detailed supporting schedules, including those for accrued and prepaid expenses.
• Perform thorough quality assurance checks prior to releasing financial reports.
• Update cover memos for financial statements, highlighting key monthly items.
• Verify financial transactions by auditing associated documents for accuracy.
• Uphold strict accounting controls by adhering to policies and procedures.
• Investigate and respond to queries regarding prepared financial statements.
• Resolve discrepancies by analyzing and gathering relevant account information.
• Engage actively in internal and external audits to verify compliance.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure completeness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of three years' experience as a Staff Accountant.
• Experience in property management accounting or HOA/COA industry preferred.
• Skilled in financial statement preparation, managing general ledger functions, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Proficient with accounting software tools.
• Ability to work rapidly and accurately to prepare and issue multiple financial statements daily.

Compensation

The total annual compensation, which includes base salary plus any bonuses or commissions, ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 USD.
