Role Summary

This position is for a senior test automation engineer focused on healthcare applications, with a strong emphasis on DICOM validation, workflow automation, and quality assurance for imaging-related systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain automation scripts that verify DICOM ingestion and output behavior.
  • Compare reference DICOM files with test outputs by checking important metadata and attributes.
  • Automate full workflow coverage for DICOM send, processing, receive, and validation steps.
  • Check AI-generated results saved in DICOM private tags and scorecards.
  • Organize and manage test data, configuration sets, and test variations.
  • Detect regressions and help maintain reliability across supported customer setups.
  • Work with engineering and domain specialists to clarify workflows and troubleshoot issues.
  • Partner closely with development, product, and DevOps teams.
  • Guide junior engineers and promote strong automation engineering practices.
  • Take ownership of test environments, dependencies, and supporting data for automation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • At least 8 years of practical experience in software development or software testing.
  • Solid healthcare domain understanding, along with strong DICOM knowledge, including data movement and imaging workflows.
  • Hands-on programming experience in Python for scripting and automation.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.
  • Proven capability in technical leadership and mentoring.

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to PACS, viewers, or medical imaging platforms.
  • Knowledge of healthcare standards such as HL7 is an added advantage.
  • Experience testing AI/ML-based healthcare products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud testing environments such as GCP or AWS.

Additional Information

This opportunity is based in Bengaluru, India. The compensation is in the range of INR 12,00,000 to 16,00,000 per year.
