Job description

About the Role

This position is crucial for managing and optimizing pricing and trade promotion activities within the Trade Promotion Management (TPM) system. The Sr. Executive will oversee the entire lifecycle of pricing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include managing promotional pricing, trade allowances, rebates, and customer-specific deals, as well as validating inputs for events, contracts, and claims. The role demands strong collaboration with various departments and customers to ensure flawless trade execution and data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute pricing activities throughout the TPM lifecycle, prioritizing accuracy, punctuality, and adherence to regulations.
  • Establish, examine, and update promotional pricing structures, trade allowances, rebate programs, and tailored customer agreements.
  • Verify pricing data used for promotional campaigns, contractual agreements, and reimbursement claims.
  • Investigate any pricing inconsistencies, determine their underlying causes, and facilitate prompt resolutions.
  • Uphold compliance with established pricing strategies, trade terms, and governance protocols.
  • Prepare, review, and submit trade promotion contracts for quality control checks.
  • Confirm that contracts accurately represent approved events, pricing structures, and trade terms.
  • Maintain promotional schedules and ensure all relevant systems, including TPM tools, Sales Planner, customer portals, and SAP/ERP, are updated correctly.
  • Assist with the verification of claims and validation of trade expenditures.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is required. A Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) is also acceptable.
  • A Master's degree is considered an advantage.

Additional Information

The Sr. Executive- Sales & Operations will be based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, and will work on-site in a full-time capacity.
