Role Overview
Playbook Sports is hiring a Sports Sales & Partnerships Representative to help drive company growth through direct client outreach and relationship-based selling. This position is based in Hoboken, New Jersey and requires frequent travel across the United States, including time spent at conferences and private networking events with key decision-makers.
The right candidate will be proactive, highly energetic, and comfortable building trust and closing deals in person. This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys life on the road, excels at face-to-face sales, and can represent the company with confidence and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Spend about 15 days each month traveling to meet prospective clients.
- Run in-person sales conversations, product demonstrations, and presentations at conferences and professional networking events.
- Grow client relationships through consultative selling focused on client needs and solutions.
- Serve as a polished and energetic representative of Playbook Sports in all client-facing settings.
- Become well-versed in the company’s all-in-one facility and sports business software.
- Work with internal teams to support smooth onboarding and long-term customer success.
Requirements
- Must be willing and able to travel regularly; travel is a mandatory part of the role.
- Demonstrated self-motivation, strong drive, and a solid work ethic.
- Comfort in high-level professional selling environments.
- Strong verbal communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Capability to organize and manage time independently while traveling.
- Prior sales experience is preferred; background in sports, SaaS, or B2B is an advantage but not essential.
