Role Overview

The Specialty Coffee Barista role is a full-time onsite position based in Jalandhar. The barista will prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with an emphasis on excellent flavor and presentation. Responsibilities include operating espresso machines, brewing equipment, and supporting food preparation for the all-day breakfast menu. The barista must ensure the service area is clean, orderly, and well-stocked, while also welcoming guests, taking orders, answering menu inquiries, and providing attentive service. Additional duties involve handling payments, assisting with opening and closing routines, and cooperating with colleagues to maintain efficient and friendly service.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong barista proficiency including coffee equipment operation and specialty drink preparation.
• Ability to prepare food items safely and consistently for the breakfast and cafe menu.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills to foster a warm, positive guest experience.
• Clear communication capabilities for order taking and coordination with the team.
• Attention to detail, punctuality, hygiene, and the capacity to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math knowledge for managing cash and digital payments along with familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
• Previous work experience in cafés, coffee shops, or food service settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
