Specialist, Population Health Impact

About the Role

The Population Health Impact Specialist reports directly to the Director of Strategic Alignment and plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational capacity related to population health. This position involves creating educational content, managing internal communications, and supporting Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), ensuring effective collaboration and alignment within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain educational and learning resources focused on population health to support staff development and orientation.
• Coordinate and manage all internal communications for the Population Health Impact team, including overseeing the centralized intake process for team requests.
• Act as the primary liaison for ERGs, aiding in the annual ERG impACT initiative and providing ongoing leadership support.
• Handle incoming population health inquiries and requests, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve them efficiently.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fields such as Business Administration, Public Health, or Health Administration.
• At least three years of professional experience within healthcare or a related sector.
• Relevant certifications like Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Certification in Public Health (CPH), or Certified Health and Wellness Coach are highly favored.
• Experience delivering presentations, facilitating training sessions, and workshops.
• Strong skills in graphic design for creating engaging visual presentations.
• Excellent written communication and composition abilities.
• High cultural competence with the ability to nurture inclusive environments.
• Project management expertise, including timeline and resource supervision and stakeholder communications.
• Proactive and organized approach to prioritizing and overcoming challenges to progress work.
• Analytical capabilities to interpret data, identify patterns, and translate insights into practical applications.
• Experience in employing AI tools to aid content development and communication efforts.
• Ability to research, analyze, and apply scientific literature to inform content creation and decision-making.
