Position overview
We are looking for an experienced payroll specialist to join an internationally active industrial company in Hermannsburg, Lower Saxony. This role is offered through temporary staffing and is planned for an initial period of 18 months. It is a strong fit for someone who enjoys structured work, keeps a careful eye on legal requirements, and wants to contribute expertise in a modern corporate HR environment.
Key responsibilities
- Run payroll independently while ensuring compliance with labour law, tax rules, and social security regulations.
- Maintain employee records and master data in SAP and SuccessFactors.
- Handle reporting and certification processes with public authorities and social insurance providers.
- Support internal contacts with questions related to payroll and salary administration processes.
- Protect data accuracy and maintain digital personnel files and other payroll-relevant documents.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant has completed a commercial vocational qualification and brings several years of hands-on experience in payroll administration. Strong knowledge of income tax, social insurance, and employment law is required, along with confident use of standard MS Office tools and experience with SAP HCM. Very good conversational German skills are needed. The role also calls for a careful, discreet, independent working style and strong teamwork and communication abilities.
