About the Role
The Specialist – IT Planning role supports the design and delivery of technology strategies, governance structures, enterprise architecture work, and smart technology initiatives. This position plays an important part in planning activities, strategic evaluations, architecture development, and innovation efforts that contribute to the organization’s long-term direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Study technology trends, new innovations, and industry-leading practices to support planning decisions.
- Help develop, update, and maintain technology governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
- Contribute to the creation of technology strategies, roadmaps, and execution plans.
- Assist with technology capacity planning and forecasting future resource needs.
- Take part in technology audits, compliance checks, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Support enterprise architecture work such as architecture assessments, blueprints, and technology reviews.
- Work with stakeholders to assess technology options and assist with architecture integration activities.
- Contribute to smart technology planning and broader digital transformation programs.
- Support predictive analytics efforts and provide insights that help guide decisions.
- Assist in defining KPIs and performance measurement models for technology services and initiatives.
- Perform market research to spot emerging technologies and innovation opportunities.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.
The role is suitable for candidates with 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in IT strategy, technology planning, enterprise architecture, digital transformation, technology governance, or similar fields.
Recent graduates are welcome if they have gained exposure through internships, academic projects, or training programs.
