Role Summary

The Specialist in Asset Management focused on NTC Financial Modelling, Performance, and Operational Intelligence supports the Asset Management team by providing financial analysis, operational insights, performance tracking, and data-driven recommendations across the NTC venue portfolio. Key responsibilities include assessing venue usage, commercial outcomes, operational effectiveness, and guest satisfaction for event and non-event activities.

This role encompasses collaboration with venue and tennis operations as well as precinct-wide functions, contributing to budgeting, forecasting, KPI updates, compliance assessments, and business intelligence efforts to enhance operational and event effectiveness. The position suits an early-career professional passionate about sport, entertainment, and large-scale venue projects seeking to expand their expertise in a world-class destination development.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with financial modelling and operational performance analysis for the NTC asset portfolio
• Generate actionable insights to improve venue utilization, commercial results, and operational efficiency
• Examine venue programming, revenue streams, and operational trends comprehensively
• Support budget preparation, forecasting exercises, and variance investigations
• Create and maintain operational dashboards, KPI reports, and business intelligence tools
• Track performance metrics related to operations, commerce, and guest experience across venues and events
• Facilitate operator performance reports, compliance checks, and governance monitoring
• Contribute to business case development, feasibility studies, and operational enhancement projects
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data across systems and reports
• Prepare presentations, reports, and summaries for leadership audiences
• Assist in risk management activities, compliance reporting, and audit preparations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives including report automation and system optimizations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including venue operations, finance, commercial, and asset management to support integrated decision-making

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, or related field
• 2 to 3 years’ professional experience in financial analysis, operational reporting, business intelligence, or similar analytical roles
• Preferably experience or genuine interest in sport, entertainment, venue management, hospitality, or large-scale event environments
• Proficiency with Excel and strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Experience in financial modelling, dashboard creation, and operational reporting is preferred
• Familiarity with budgeting, KPI reporting, and commercial performance evaluation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in dynamic, fast-paced settings
• Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and passion for sport, entertainment, and live event experiences
• Experience with business intelligence software, visualization platforms, or reporting systems is an advantage
