Role Overview

We are looking for a Specialist, eLearning to join our Learning Team across any of our offices. This role is dedicated to fostering a culture of continuous learning within the firm through digital education. The key responsibility is to design, develop, and maintain engaging eLearning content that aligns with organizational learning goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop learner-focused eLearning courses, microlearning materials, job aids, and video content using tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to define content packages.
  • Create storyboards and scripts in partnership with the Instructional Design Team Lead.
  • Design interactive activities, quizzes, and assessments that evaluate knowledge acquisition effectively.
  • Manage review cycles and integrate feedback from SMEs and stakeholders.
  • Apply adult learning theories and instructional design best practices to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Identify and resolve design and technical challenges throughout development.
  • Ensure that learning materials comply with accessibility standards and align with corporate branding.
  • Publish and test eLearning modules to confirm functionality and accurate progress tracking within the LMS.
  • Use learner metrics, assessments, surveys, and analytics post-launch to assess effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Oversee multiple eLearning projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Continuously update and refine learning content, assessments, and interactive elements.
  • Review and provide feedback on courses developed by others.
  • Document development processes and workflows for future reference.
  • Stay current with emerging learning technologies and propose innovative digital learning solutions.

Rollout Training Support

  • Work alongside project teams to create eLearning content supporting new technology implementation.
  • Engage stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth adoption during rollout.
  • Collaborate on problem-solving issues encountered in rollout phases.

LMS Administration

  • Manage content uploading and administration within the Learning Management System.
  • Support the implementation and ongoing administration of the LMS.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in Adult Learning, Education, or Technology with a minimum of three years of experience designing eLearning solutions.
  • Experience working within the legal sector is considered an advantage.
  • Bilingual fluency in both French and English is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional and learning experience design, and eLearning methodologies.
  • Ability to quickly comprehend technical topics and assimilate new technologies.
  • Familiarity with SCORM, AICC, Tin Can API standards, and eLearning accessibility guidelines.
  • Technical proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Rise, video production and editing, HTML5, LMS platforms, and advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive total rewards package with annual salary ranging between $66,352 and $96,036 CAD, adjusted based on location, qualifications, and market standards while maintaining internal and external pay equity.
