Job description
Job Purpose
This role is designed to assist in the development and rollout of performance management processes and systems. A key objective is to foster internal capabilities, cultivate a performance-oriented culture, and ensure the consistent delivery of precise and timely data regarding EAD's performance against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist EAD sectors and offices in setting targets and developing/cascading KPIs to ensure adherence to the established performance management methodology and procedures.
- Collaborate with various sector, office, and division representatives to create performance scorecards, ensuring organizational alignment with set performance benchmarks.
- Regularly collect and analyze data to monitor and track performance against defined targets and KPIs, identifying variances and proposing suitable solutions to sectors/offices.
- Establish and implement a tracking and reporting mechanism to periodically report on progress relative to set targets and KPIs.
- Spearhead efforts to support sectors and offices in enhancing their internal performance management skills, ensuring staff comprehend the rationale behind the process and can effectively implement it.
- Serve as the primary point of contact within the Corporate Performance Management section for mentoring, coaching, and capacity-building initiatives, demonstrating leadership through example.
- Generate progress reports on performance against KPIs and targets, ensuring consistency with ADEO guidelines and supporting the Section Manager – Performance Management in coordinating with ADEO to supply necessary performance management activity data.
- Develop guidelines and manuals to support capacity-building efforts and ensure compliance with the established methodology.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field from a recognized institution is required. A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience is necessary for this position.
