About the Role
This remote contract opportunity is for a Special Education Expert who will support evaluation work for AI systems. The role focuses on reviewing generated content, building realistic special-education scenarios, and helping improve the quality and compliance of model outputs.
What You’ll Do
- Assess AI-created responses tied to IEP objective drafting, accommodation ideas, and behavior intervention approaches.
- Develop lifelike examples drawn from special education processes such as IEP meetings and student progress tracking.
- Tag, review, and verify data across special education scenarios while keeping IDEA and related rules in mind.
- Share organized feedback on how accurately AI reflects federal and state special education requirements and evidence-based practice.
- Work independently and asynchronously with research teams to improve evaluation methods for special education AI.
Experience and Qualification Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on professional experience in special education.
- Experience in one or more of the following: special education classroom teaching, IEP coordination, or applied behavior analysis.
- Ability to break down individualized student-support workflows into structured evaluation tasks.
- Strong written communication, careful attention to detail, and solid analytical judgment.
Preferred Credentials
- Relevant professional certification or licensure such as BCBA, special education teaching certification, or school psychologist qualification.
Compensation and Additional Terms
Pay is stated as $850 to $1,000 for each completed task. Performance-based weekly bonuses may be available for strong contributors, and top performers may later be moved to an hourly pay structure.
