  • Eligibility to secure a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance is required.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for duties.
  • Fulfillment of the FBI’s general employment eligibility criteria.

Education Requirements

A bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited U.S. institution is essential, preferably in engineering or a related discipline. Official college transcripts must be submitted to verify qualifications.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role spans from $93,749 to $133,200, which correlates with base pay, locality adjustments, and availability pay. The FBI also offers comprehensive support for professional development, a collaborative work environment, and a substantial benefits package prioritizing employee well-being.

Application Process

Applicants must submit a resume detailing relevant work experience with precise start and end dates, limiting the resume to no more than two pages. Required supporting documents include college transcripts and, for veterans or disabled veterans, appropriate DD and VA documentation. Completion of all application steps and submission of necessary documents are compulsory.

The FBI is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified candidates will be considered regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, marital or parental status, disability, age (40 or over), sex, pregnancy-related conditions, or other non-merit factors.
