Position Overview

This role is exempt from the federal civilian hiring freeze and offers a unique opportunity to utilize your legal background in federal law enforcement. As a Special Agent with expertise in law and legal matters, your analytical abilities will be pivotal in addressing national security threats. You will spearhead investigations into violent crimes, cybersecurity incidents, fraud, terrorism, and other evolving dangers by interpreting complex data and uncovering critical insights.

Main Responsibilities

• Initiate and manage investigations related to federal law violations, cybersecurity threats, and public safety concerns.

• Establish and sustain cooperative relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement entities.

Key Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Eligibility to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Clearance.
• Willingness to travel as part of job duties.
• Must satisfy FBI employment eligibility criteria.

Educational Prerequisites

Applicants are required to hold a bachelor’s or J.D. degree, preferably in law, legal studies, or related disciplines, from a U.S. accredited institution. Official college transcripts must be submitted for degree verification.

Salary Details

Compensation ranges from $93,749 to $133,200 annually, based on base pay, location, and availability.
