Overview
This role invites experienced legal professionals to transition into a Special Agent position within the FBI, leveraging their background in law to play a critical role in national security efforts. Major Responsibilities
- Lead and manage investigations concerning potential breaches of federal statutes, with a focus on cybersecurity and public safety issues.
- Apply judgment, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to meet diverse investigative challenges effectively.
- Build and sustain cooperative working relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
- Maintain physical fitness standards essential for fulfilling law enforcement responsibilities.
Qualifications and Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
- Ability to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
- Willingness and availability to travel as investigations require.
- Fulfillment of standard FBI employment eligibility criteria.
- Possession of a bachelor's or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. institution, preferably related to law or legal studies. Official transcripts must be provided for verification.
Compensation
Salary ranges from $93,749 to $133,200 annually, adjusted based on base pay, locality, and availability factors.
