About the Role

This position is exempt from the federal civilian hiring freeze. As a Special Agent at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), you will leverage your healthcare and medical background to address national security through investigative work. Your expertise will aid in countering cyberattacks, terrorism, fraud, and other emerging threats by analyzing complex data and uncovering critical patterns that support public safety investigations.

Responsibilities

• Leading investigations into potential breaches of federal laws, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety threats.
• Applying judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to satisfy investigative needs.
• Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with agencies across federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement communities.
• Sustaining physical fitness to meet the demanding requirements inherent in law enforcement duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

• You must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
• Willingness to travel as duties demand.
• Compliance with FBI employment eligibility standards.
• Possession of a bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in medical, health, public safety, or closely related fields, from an accredited U.S. institution with verified transcripts.

Compensation

The position offers a salary range between $93,749 and $133,200 annually, adjusted based on locality, base, and availability pay.
