Job Overview

This position with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has been exempted from the federal civilian hiring freeze. As an FBI Special Agent specializing in healthcare, you will utilize your expertise in medical and healthcare practices to conduct critical investigations impacting national security. The role offers opportunities to apply your analytical and data interpretation skills to combat cyber threats, terrorism, fraud, and other public safety risks.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead investigations involving potential federal law violations, cybersecurity breaches, and threats to public safety.
• Use sound judgment, adaptability, and innovative problem-solving techniques to meet complex investigative challenges.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement agencies.
• Maintain physical fitness standards necessary for effective law enforcement operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance is required.
• Willingness to travel as job demands.
• Must satisfy the FBI’s employment eligibility criteria.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited U.S. college or university, preferably in medicine, health sciences, public safety, or a related discipline.
• All degrees must be verified by official college transcripts.

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $93,749 to $133,200, depending on base pay, location adjustments, and availability pay.
