Job Overview

This role offers a unique chance to transition your education and teaching experience into a federal law enforcement career at the FBI, where your analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities will help protect national security. As a special agent, you'll engage in investigating violent crimes, cyber threats, terrorism, fraud, and other public safety risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and carry out investigations involving federal law violations, including cybersecurity and public safety matters.
  • Apply sound judgment, resourcefulness, and adaptability to meet complex investigative challenges.
  • Build and sustain cooperative relationships with law enforcement agencies at federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
  • Maintain physical fitness standards to be prepared for law enforcement duties.

Required Background and Skills

Your experience in education and teaching has honed your ability to interpret complex information, recognize patterns, and approach issues thoughtfully. Skills in Adobe Photoshop, tutoring, early childhood education, machine learning, and leadership all contribute to your capacity for critical thinking and sound judgment, especially when working with children and diverse groups.

These competencies will be expanded and applied in sensitive and challenging investigations, where data and evidence must be carefully analyzed and acted upon.
