Overview

Join the FBI as a Special Agent leveraging your cybersecurity experience to protect the nation. This role combines your technical proficiency with investigative responsibilities tackling significant threats such as cyberattacks, terrorism, and fraud. Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute investigations involving potential federal law breaches, cybersecurity incidents, and public safety concerns.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, adaptability, and resourcefulness in handling investigative challenges.
  • Establish and sustain collaborative relationships with various law enforcement bodies across federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international levels.
  • Maintain physical fitness standards necessary for law enforcement duties.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • Ability to obtain Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
  • Willingness to travel as duties require.
  • Compliance with FBI employment eligibility standards.
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, data science, information technology, or a closely related discipline from a U.S.-accredited institution.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $93,749 to $133,200 annually, reflecting base pay, locality adjustments, and availability pay.
