SPE - Accounts Payable (PTP) Walk-in Drive

About the Role

This is an opportunity for professionals with a background in Accounts Payable (Procure to Pay / PTP) to join Cognizant in Hyderabad via a walk-in recruitment drive scheduled for August 5th, 2026. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in finance and accounting processes, particularly in accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee vendor setup and updates, maintaining accurate information in the system.
• Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payment cycles.
• Analyze invoice data and ensure correctness for seamless processing.
• Investigate invoices that are not immediately processable and drive them to resolution.
• Handle payment processing on time and support period-end reconciliation activities.
• Assist with overall vendor management and address queries through AP helpdesk as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in commerce or a related field (B.Com, M.Com, or MBA).
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Procure to Pay (PTP), primarily focused on Accounts Payable.
• Preferably familiar with SAP applications for invoice and payment management.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
• Customer-oriented attitude with proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Visual Basic or Macros is a plus, but not mandatory.

Shift & Additional Information

• Work requires flexibility for US and UK shift timings.
• Onsite position with work-from-office; two-way transport will be provided.
