About the Role
Büro North is seeking a Spatial Strategist to join our team, focusing on enhancing how individuals navigate and engage with built environments and public spaces. The role involves developing wayfinding strategies and refining user experiences to address complex spatial, behavioral, and branding challenges, creating intuitive solutions for various precincts, campuses, transit centers, and communal areas. The ideal candidate balances high-level strategic vision with practical implementation considerations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop wayfinding and spatial strategies for significant projects within built environments and public realms.
- Perform user experience research, interpret findings, and translate insights into effective strategic directions.
- Work collaboratively with architects, urban planners, industrial designers, and clients to create integrated experiences of place.
- Effectively communicate strategic proposals to clients and relevant stakeholders.
- Support proposal development and contribute to business growth initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Proven background in wayfinding strategy and/or spatial user experience design.
- In-depth knowledge of design processes related to the built environment and public realm.
- Excellent interpersonal and client engagement abilities.
- A cooperative and inquisitive mindset toward problem-solving.
