Job Summary
The Spare Parts Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the steady availability and efficient management of spare parts and tools. This involves overseeing these items from the point of order initiation through receiving, handling, distribution, and organized storage.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and tools to meet requests.
- Place orders to replenish stock as necessary.
- Manage timely dispatch and distribution of parts and tools to technicians.
- Perform physical inventory counts to verify stock records against actual inventory.
- Analyze and report any inconsistencies or discrepancies in inventory.
- Prepare various inventory-related reports such as stock movements and aging stock assessments.
- Ensure accuracy and proper filing of all inventory documentation.
- Follow company policies, inventory management procedures, and maintain compliance with quality standards.
- Assist with internal audits by providing relevant documentation and records related to inventory.
Work Conditions
- Positions available in Jeddah and Riyadh.
- Five working days per week with two days off.
- Shift timings vary depending on operational requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Possession of a diploma or bachelor's degree ideally in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related areas.
- Between 1 and 4 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with inventory software and preferably SAP.
- Strong command of both Arabic and English languages, with effective verbal and written communication abilities.
