Job description
Role overview
Games Workshop is hiring a Sales Development Representative to help grow its network of independent retailers across Latin America, South Africa, and the Middle East. This position suits someone who enjoys opening new conversations, uncovering commercial opportunities, and turning prospects into long-term B2B partners.
The role is focused on proactive outreach to potential retailers, mainly through cold calling. You will introduce them to Games Workshop, explain the value of working together, and support them in understanding how the partnership can contribute to their success. Success in this role depends on clear communication, confidence in handling objections, and the ability to adapt your style to different businesses.
This is a fast-moving, target-led sales position where self-starting behaviour matters. You will need resilience, a strong sense of initiative, and the ability to stay motivated through rejection while remaining aligned with the company’s global trade approach. Prior sales experience is helpful, but attitude, determination, and enthusiasm are the key qualities the company is looking for.
Working culture
Games Workshop places strong value on people who understand the needs of the business and prioritise them in their day-to-day work. The company believes behaviour, mindset, and approach to work are more important than experience alone.
Location
This position is based full time on site at the UK headquarters in Nottingham, England, United Kingdom. The Warhammer World site is located just outside Nottingham city centre and has access to a nearby tram stop as well as free on-site parking.
Benefits
The package includes 33 days of holiday each year, public holidays included, a matched contributory pension of up to 7.5%, a profit-share bonus if profit targets are met, the option to join the Share Save scheme, and staff discounts of 25% to 50% on products.
Language and application details
Fluency in both English and Spanish at full business level is required. Knowledge of additional languages would be an advantage.
Applicants must submit a cover letter or video in English explaining their interest in the role, along with an up-to-date CV in English.
The application deadline is midnight, UK time, on Sunday 5 July 2026.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant is persuasive, resilient, highly motivated, and comfortable working in a sales environment where each conversation may be different. Strong listening skills, confidence on the phone, and the ability to influence purchasing decisions are essential.
