About the Role
The AWS Talent Acquisition team is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Recruiter to join their Sydney-based team for a fixed term of 12 months. This recruiter will lead talent sourcing initiatives, partnering closely with hiring managers to identify, engage, and assess exceptional candidates across various roles throughout Australia. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate deeply with business teams to fully understand job roles and responsibilities, enabling the development of targeted recruitment strategies.
- Establish and nurture a talent network through proactive market research and ongoing relationship management, focusing on candidate motivation and cultural fit beyond the role itself.
- Utilize a broad range of sourcing channels, such as employee referrals, internal CRM systems, career portals, and job fairs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on talent market trends, proposing strategies to support long-term talent acquisition objectives.
- Refine and implement recruitment processes aligned with Amazon's mission to deliver high-quality hiring outcomes.
- Play an active role in recruitment by assessing candidate skills thoroughly to uphold high standards.
- Manage recruitment data meticulously, applying data-driven and systematic approaches to achieve operational excellence.
- Drive continuous improvement by educating hiring managers and interviewers on recruitment best practices and interview techniques.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in technical recruiting within a high volume, high hiring standard environment.
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple recruitment searches, projects, and client relationships.
- Demonstrated creative sourcing skills with aptitude for proactive networking and building active candidate pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in designing, measuring, and scaling recruitment workflows involving candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting teams.
- Strong consulting abilities and capability to thrive in a collaborative team setting.
