About the Role
We are seeking a Sourcing Business Partner to help strengthen Ericsson’s business performance and support customer success. In this position, you will contribute to building both immediate and long-range profitable outcomes by working closely with partner organizations and internal stakeholders.
By engaging early with partner teams, you will help increase the value delivered through third-party suppliers. Your work will involve supporting category strategies and preferred supplier lists, and taking part in strategic sales, product, and project discussions as well as business and product decision-making forums.
The role also calls for identifying and promoting new business approaches that improve value through collaboration with third parties, Ericsson’s supplier network, benchmarking, and sourcing strategy development. You will be responsible for supporting sourcing input into business opportunities and helping ensure delivery meets stakeholder expectations and customer delight.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with business teams as a committed sourcing partner.
- Act as a trusted advisor for partner engagement activities.
- Contribute ideas that strengthen business strategy and preferred supplier decisions.
- Support sourcing accountability for profitability.
- Help improve sourcing performance against targets.
- Assist with sourcing work connected to mergers and acquisitions.
- Take part in the sales cycle to help secure profitable business.
- Support sourcing value creation for business opportunities.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sourcing solution management.
- A first academic degree or an equivalent qualification in a related field.
- Background in both direct and indirect sourcing.
- Strong understanding of sourcing practices, processes, and strategy.
- Ability to build business models and assess commercial opportunities.
- Good grasp of business needs and demand management.
- Experience with change management and continuous improvement.
- Strong commercial awareness and decision-making capability.
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations.
- Ability to take initiative and make decisions confidently.
