Role overview
This part-time, remote Sourcer position is centered on finding and engaging strong-fit candidates who can help Shipday grow. The role involves researching talent markets, developing candidate pipelines, and reaching out to prospective candidates through multiple channels. You will work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand hiring needs, shape search approaches, review candidate profiles, and keep recruiting records accurate and up to date.
Key responsibilities
- Research talent pools and identify potential candidates who match open roles.
- Build and nurture candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to clarify role requirements and sourcing priorities.
- Create targeted search strategies and outreach plans across different platforms.
- Review candidate profiles and assess early fit for open positions.
- Maintain clean and accurate candidate information in recruiting systems.
- Help improve sourcing workflows and overall recruiting processes.
- Support employer branding efforts and contribute to a respectful, inclusive candidate experience.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with talent sourcing, profile research, and building pipelines through job boards, social media, and professional networks.
- Strong Boolean search skills, talent mapping ability, and a data-driven approach to candidate identification and prioritization.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills for outreach and coordination with hiring teams.
- Comfort working independently in a remote setup while handling multiple searches and deadlines.
- Working knowledge of ATS or CRM tools, along with basic familiarity with tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
- A consistent focus on fair, inclusive, and unbiased sourcing methods that help create diverse candidate pools.
- Experience in tech or startup environments is a plus, and a background in recruiting, HR, or a related area is preferred.
