Role Overview

This fully remote Solutions Consultant position focuses on the Public Sector in Ireland, a vital vertical that includes government departments, national security, and critical state bodies. Protecting national interests, citizen data confidentiality, and resilience of critical infrastructure drive this sector. The role requires architecting advanced security solutions for complex environments supporting domains like defence, revenue, healthcare, and social protection. Expertise in public sector mandates and procurement frameworks such as the Office of Government Procurement (OGP) is essential to successfully influence and tailor cybersecurity solutions that strengthen national security and enable secure government digital transformations.

Responsibilities

• Exceed sales targets through strategic and technical account planning focusing on cross-platform solutions.
• Develop high-level security architectures and demonstrate solutions across the entire Palo Alto Networks portfolio aligned with customer business needs.
• Conduct discovery to evaluate technical, operational, and commercial priorities of customers and prospects.
• Collaborate closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure solution implementation and adoption.
• Deliver impactful presentations, demos, technical engagements, and workshops to influence customer decisions.
• Lead technical validation efforts applying industry best practices to secure wins on assigned opportunities.
• Coordinate internal and external resources including Specialists, Channel Partners, and Customer Support for a unified customer strategy.
• Promote comprehensive solutions including Palo Alto Networks and partner professional services to accelerate customer business value realization.
• Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape to differentiate Palo Alto Networks offerings effectively.
• Continuously enhance technical and professional skills contributing to customer and company success, and actively engage in the Solutions Consultant community and industry events.
• Build strong relationships with technical stakeholders to advance security architecture transformation roadmaps.

Qualifications & Experience

• Solid understanding of data networking, modern application design, and cloud architectures.
• Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions addressing complex technical challenges while influencing new business initiatives.
• Proven capability to engage and gain buy-in from key stakeholders in customer-facing or internal roles, preferably in pre-sales.
• Skillful in creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, and validation engagements.
• Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or supporting Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and SOC Transformation solutions.
• Familiarity partnering with Customer Support to guarantee successful solution adoption.
• Aptitude for navigating complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers and varied product offerings.
• Fluent in English.

Compensation and Benefits
