Job description

About the Role

The position involves engaging in field visits to various channel partners and residential clients to promote rooftop solar solutions. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and generating leads through referrals, direct door-to-door interactions, channel partnerships, resident welfare associations (RWAs), and local community groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and nurture leads by explaining the benefits of rooftop solar installations including cost savings, subsidies, and financing options.
  • Conduct site surveys in partnership with EPC vendors, gathering technical information such as roof measurements, shadow assessments, and electrical load data.
  • Document site conditions through photography and prepare comprehensive survey reports to aid proposal creation.
  • Coordinate with customers and installation teams to schedule and monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Facilitate project commissioning and handover phases effectively.
  • Assist clients in applying for PM Surya Ghar subsidy programs and manage associated documentation.
  • Liaise with DISCOMs for obtaining net metering approvals and inspections.
  • Maintain detailed records of projects and customer interactions, updating the CRM system daily regarding activities, leads, site visits, and project status.
  • Prepare and submit performance reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, tracking progress from lead generation through successful commissioning.
