Role Overview

We are seeking a Social Video Creator passionate about producing compelling short-form videos. This role involves creating engaging Reels, LinkedIn clips, event recaps, and diverse short videos that effectively capture audience attention. You will handle the entire video production process, aligning with our content strategy to showcase Alma's mission and offerings to immigrants and employers.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, shoot, edit, and publish a variety of short-form video formats across platforms including X, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Create platform-native video content highlighting product features, company highlights, and cultural moments.
• Stay updated with emerging video trends and swiftly produce relevant content.
• Manage the complete video workflow independently, from initial idea to posting, ensuring high-quality output.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, product, and legal teams to generate and refine video ideas.
• Produce engaging event recaps that convey the experience effectively.
• Contribute to expanding Alma's video presence and community engagement across channels.
• Support additional marketing initiatives as required.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated portfolio or reel showcasing impactful short-form video content.
• Proficient in shooting and editing using tools such as CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or AI editing solutions.
• Strong intuition regarding video content performance and audience engagement.
• Able to work swiftly without compromising quality.
• Comfortable integrating AI tools into video production workflows.
• Available to work onsite in the Bay Area on a hybrid schedule, including filming at events.

Important Considerations

• This is a video-focused role requiring substantial output; candidates focused primarily on static content or strategic planning without video production will not be suitable.
• Our environment moves rapidly with constant iteration; those preferring slow, structured settings may find it challenging.
• Applicants must be comfortable sharing their work publicly and adapting based on feedback.
