Job description

About the Role

Brevitē creates design-led bags and gear for photographers, filmmakers, and modern creators. Over the past ten years, the brand has grown into a community of more than 2.5 million creators connected by the idea of “Make Something.” The team is now seeking someone who can shape how the brand shows up on social media with a high level of taste, consistency, and creative judgment.

This position is centered on visual curation first. You would be responsible for the overall look and feel of Brevitē’s feed, ensuring every post matches the brand and elevates its presence. The ideal fit is a photographer, filmmaker, or creator who is also strong at managing social channels—not a traditional social marketer who occasionally works with visuals.

The opportunity here is to take a brand people already know and help build a social presence that feels more intentional, polished, and aligned with the community it serves.

Responsibilities

  • Set and maintain the visual standard for the feed, deciding what gets published and whether it fits the brand.
  • Plan content in advance so the grid feels cohesive and intentionally composed rather than random.
  • Create posts that people are likely to save, share, and send to others.
  • Manage Instagram Stories every day as a key channel for day-to-day community engagement.
  • Organize and grow a content library of photos and video clips so the account always has strong branded assets available.
  • Transform long-form YouTube conversations into short, feed-friendly clips that feel natural for the brand.
  • Handle direct messages, replies, and comments with a genuine, human tone.
  • Develop larger social ideas such as giveaways, collaborations, and other brand moments that build momentum.
  • Maintain a sustainable publishing cadence that can be kept up over time.

Requirements

  • A strong photographer’s or filmmaker’s eye, backed by a portfolio or reel that demonstrates it.
  • Prior experience managing a brand’s social media presence and owning a feed, not only contributing to one.
  • The ability to work independently and execute a visual system without constant supervision.
  • Natural familiarity with the creator economy and the aesthetics that resonate there.
  • Interest in gear, including awareness of new camera and lens releases.
  • Regular engagement with creators or YouTubers and an understanding of what keeps audiences watching and following.

Additional Information

This is a part-time, contract-style role at roughly 10 hours per week to start, with room for the scope to expand as the channel grows. The position is remote, although occasional shoots or travel may come up when needed.

Application Instructions

Applicants should share a portfolio or reel along with a resume. A short note highlighting a brand feed they admire or have personally managed would strengthen the application.
