Role overview
Join a premium stationery brand that champions intentional living and thoughtfully designed analogue tools. This ongoing part-time freelance assignment is centered on growing and refining the brand’s Instagram presence, with Pinterest acting as a supporting channel.
You’ll be responsible for planning content, producing and editing engaging Reels, publishing posts, repurposing user-generated content, and tracking performance across social platforms. The work is done in close coordination with the founder, with room for creative input as long as everything stays within the brand’s established guidelines. The content style should feel calm, refined, aesthetic, and aligned with a minimal, sensory brand voice.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a content schedule for Instagram and Pinterest.
- Produce, shoot, and edit Reels and other visual assets.
- Adapt user-generated content so it fits the brand’s tone and visual direction.
- Craft clear, engaging captions and other copy that sound on-brand.
- Use social media scheduling tools to plan and publish content.
- Track platform performance and prepare reports on key metrics.
- Work with the founder to keep content aligned with brand strategy.
- Preserve a consistent, polished visual style across all channels.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing social media for premium, lifestyle, or similar brands.
- Hands-on ability to create content, including filming and editing short-form video such as Reels.
- Working knowledge of Canva and social media scheduling platforms.
- Experience with Pinterest account management is a strong advantage.
- Strong writing and copywriting ability.
- Comfort creating content that feels calm, understated, minimal, and sensory.
- Solid understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and able to work independently.
- Preference for candidates based in Melbourne, though remote applicants are welcome.
