Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate Social Media Manager to join our Melbourne team. This role involves managing a portfolio of 5 to 8 clients, acting as their primary social media contact, and overseeing the delivery of content and strategy aligned with each client’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of social media strategies tailored to client goals.
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Create compelling captions, scripts, and copy that authentically reflect each brand’s voice.
- Organize and attend content shoots, providing detailed briefs to the creative team to maximize output quality.
- Oversee community management for all assigned accounts.
- Manage full-cycle influencer and user-generated content (UGC) campaigns as necessary.
- Conduct regular work-in-progress meetings to ensure clients are informed and their needs are met.
- Perform light video and graphic editing tasks.
- Prepare monthly performance reports and continuously optimize campaigns based on insights.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 5 years experience in social media management.
- Degree in marketing, communications, or media with substantial practical experience.
- Exceptional copywriting skills capable of adapting to multiple brand voices across various industries.
- Strong understanding of social media performance metrics and drivers.
- Experience in crafting and presenting social media strategies to stakeholders.
- Excellent client communication skills; proactive, poised, and personable under pressure.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines efficiently.
- Proficient with scheduling tools, Google Workspace, Slack, and Trello; familiarity with Adobe and Figma is advantageous.
- Possession of a current driver’s license and access to a reliable car to attend shoots and client meetings.
