Kelleher International is a luxury matchmaking company with more than four decades of experience bringing exceptional people together. The business is expanding its digital footprint and is seeking a Social Media Manager who can turn the brand’s sophistication, warmth, and authority into compelling content for a discerning, high-achieving audience.
This position owns the end-to-end social media workflow across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, Facebook, and X. The work includes planning, creating, publishing, community interaction, promotion, and performance analysis.
Content and Creative
- Design and run a monthly content plan for all active channels.
- Write, film, and edit short-form video content, including Reels and TikToks.
- Produce graphics, carousel posts, and static creative that follows brand standards.
- Partner with matchmakers to capture testimonials, expert insights, and thought-leadership content.
- Adjust messaging to fit each platform, such as polished messaging for LinkedIn, aspirational tone for Instagram, and a more conversational style for Reddit.
Strategy and Growth
- Plan and manage paid social activity, including boosted posts, Meta ads, LinkedIn ads, TikTok ads, and X ads.
- Track growth in followers, engagement, and overall reach against key performance goals.
- Spot trending audio, formats, and timely cultural moments to create fast-moving content.
- Engage with Reddit communities in relevant subreddits.
- Carry out quarterly competitor reviews and platform audits.
Community and Engagement
- Review and reply to comments, direct messages, and mentions every day.
- Identify and escalate sensitive client-related inquiries when needed.
- Build connections with influencer and media partners in the luxury lifestyle space.
- Support PR activity and brand partnerships through social media amplification.
Analytics and Reporting
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports and dashboards.
- Test creative formats, captions, and posting frequency to improve results.
- Use platform tools and reporting software such as Sprout Social or Later to guide optimization.
- Turn performance data into practical creative and strategy adjustments.
Paid Promotion and Targeted Advertising
This position has direct responsibility for paid social spend across LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, and X. The focus is not limited to boosting posts; it also includes building and running carefully targeted campaigns aimed at precise audiences with tailored messaging.
Kelleher’s client acquisition and member engagement goals depend on a mix of organic and paid social. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, launch, and optimize campaigns that support organic content while using budgets strategically against audience groups, business objectives, and campaign timelines.
- Own paid social budgets across LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and X Ads from setup through reporting.
- Build audience segments using custom audiences, lookalikes, interest-based targeting, job title and seniority filters, and geographic targeting.
- Create ad copy and creative tailored to platform and campaign goals such as awareness, lead generation, event promotion, and retargeting.
- Run A/B tests across creative, audiences, placements, and bidding approaches to improve CPL and ROAS.
- Manage promoted-post decisions by identifying which organic posts should receive paid support and how budgets should be allocated.
- Coordinate with leadership on campaign priorities, including market expansion, seasonal acquisition periods, event promotion, and niche targeting needs.
- Provide clear reports covering spend, reach, CPM, CTR, CPL, and conversion performance, along with practical recommendations.
- Stay informed about policy updates, targeting options, and ad-format changes across platforms.
Audience Targeting Expectations
Because the company serves a high-net-worth, achievement-driven audience, paid campaigns must prioritize precision rather than volume. The role requires experience reaching audiences based on professional, behavioral, and geographic characteristics, as well as retargeting warm audiences.
- Professional filters such as industry, seniority, job function, and company size, especially on LinkedIn.
- Behavioral and interest cues such as relationship intent, luxury lifestyle, travel, and wellness on Meta and TikTok.
- Location and demographic targeting tied to specific market-growth goals.
- Retargeting pools such as site visitors, video viewers, and engagement-based audiences.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing brand social media accounts; experience in luxury, lifestyle, or relationship-related industries is a strong advantage.
- Practical experience running campaigns in LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Meta Ads Manager is required; TikTok Ads and X Ads are beneficial.
- Ability to manage budgets, improve spend efficiency, and report on paid metrics such as CPL, ROAS, CTR, and conversion rate.
- Strong short-form video capability, with comfort working both on camera and behind the scenes.
- Excellent writing ability across several tones, including witty, warm, refined, and conversational.
- Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut for content creation.
- Strong understanding of audience targeting, custom audiences, and lookalike modeling.
- Awareness of pixel setup, tracking, UTM tagging, and basic attribution principles.
- Professional discretion when working with a private, high-net-worth clientele.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to handle paid and organic responsibilities at the same time.
Portfolio Requirement
Every applicant must include a portfolio. It should demonstrate managed brand accounts, original creative work, and at least one paid social campaign. An optional but welcome addition is a one-page strategy brief or sample monthly calendar for a luxury or lifestyle brand. Portfolios can be shared as a PDF, website link, or cloud folder. Applications submitted without a portfolio will not be reviewed.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $65,000 to $85,000 per year. The position is remote and includes full benefits, health coverage, and paid time off.
