Role Overview
This part-time, fully remote position involves overseeing BREI's social media platforms by planning, producing, and scheduling content that showcases research, certifications, events, and industry insights in the automotive and BIW fields. The role requires regular monitoring of social media channels, addressing comments and messages, moderating discussions, and fostering a responsive and active online community of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase reach and audience engagement.
- Create and curate timely content aligned with BREI's mission and research activities.
- Continuously monitor social interactions, responding appropriately to maintain community health.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging consistency and accuracy across platforms.
- Analyze social media metrics, preparing reports and identifying growth opportunities.
- Support digital marketing campaigns promoting BREI’s educational programs and initiatives.
Candidate Qualifications
- Proficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization techniques to design campaigns, build audience presence, and boost engagement.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for producing clear and compelling content for various digital audiences.
- Experience in content strategy to effectively organize and align social media posts with BREI’s research and evaluation projects.
- Familiarity with leading social platforms, community management protocols, and fundamental analytics tools.
- Excellent organizational and detail-oriented mindset capable of working independently in a remote setting.
- Previous background in social media or digital marketing roles; experience within automotive or technical/engineering domains is advantageous.
- A diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related area is preferred; equivalent hands-on experience will also be considered.
