Role Overview

A health insurance client is looking for a Social Media Copywriter to support project-based work from mid-July through the end of October. The assignment is fully remote and is expected to run about 20 to 30 hours per week, with workload varying based on campaign timing and project demand.

Key Responsibilities

Create fresh, platform-specific social copy for marketing initiatives.
Translate broader campaign messaging into social-first content designed to boost engagement and results.
Draft copy for social posts, carousel assets, short-form video content, and related social media deliverables.
Work closely with designers, campaign teams, and other stakeholders to support integrated social campaigns.
Maintain a consistent brand voice while helping move through fast-paced, high-volume campaign cycles.
Review feedback quickly and revise content efficiently as priorities shift.

Experience and Qualifications

At least 3 to 5+ years of experience writing copy for social media.
Hands-on experience creating content for Instagram, including feed posts, stories, reels, and carousels.
Experience writing for TikTok and other short-form video platforms.
A strong portfolio that highlights social-first campaign work and creative storytelling.
Ability to produce brief, compelling copy that speaks to the intended audience.
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Background

Experience working with healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries is an advantage.
Exposure to OEP/AEP or health insurance campaigns is helpful, though not required.
Creative thinking and portfolio quality are valued more highly than direct industry experience.

Benefits

Work Authorization and Location

Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa such as H-1B, TN, or O visa. STEM/OPT program support or training is not provided. Candidates must also be physically located in the United States and perform the work from within the country.
