Job description

About the role

Influential, the specialist social and influencer agency within Publicis Groupe ANZ, is hiring a Social Media Coordinator to support the delivery of campaigns for well-known FMCG and consumer brands. This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their career who wants hands-on exposure to social media, influencer marketing, client work and campaign execution.

In this position, you will report to the Senior Content Director and help move campaigns from concept through to delivery. The role combines creator research, community engagement, copywriting, performance tracking and trend spotting, all within a fast-moving agency environment where you will learn from experienced specialists.

What you'll do

  • Assist with the planning and rollout of social and influencer campaigns.
  • Help run online communities and keep track of conversations across social channels.
  • Identify and research creators and influencers to inform campaign ideas and recommendations.
  • Support content calendars, social copy and campaign reporting tasks.
  • Stay up to date with emerging social, creator and cultural trends, then bring new ideas to team discussions.
  • Work with creative, media and PR teams and build confidence in client-facing communication.

What we're looking for

  • About 6 to 12 months of experience in social media, influencer marketing or a similar role.
  • Strong interest in creators, pop culture and fast-moving social platforms.
  • Clear writing skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Comfort using Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.
  • A proactive, curious attitude and willingness to learn in an agency setting.
  • Working knowledge of Meta platforms and Microsoft Office, plus a basic understanding of reporting and analytics.
  • Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot is helpful, but not required.

Who can apply

This role is suited to candidates who are early in their career and looking to grow in social media and influencer marketing. Applicants should be comfortable working in a collaborative, client-facing agency environment and be able to contribute ideas, communication support and campaign assistance.
