Job description
About QOVES
QOVES is a technology business focused on facial aesthetics, with the goal of helping people make better-informed beauty decisions. Instead of relying on vague or generic guidance, the company provides science-led insight into facial features along with tailored advice to help customers improve how they look. Its audience reach is substantial, with more than 2.5 million followers across platforms and a customer rating of 4.8 stars from 600+ reviews, reflecting the company’s emphasis on thoughtful, sensitive service. QOVES is a profitable and expanding company based at The Library in London, supported by a global team. Its work is shaped by evidence, responsibility, and a broad, inclusive view of beauty.
Role overview
This is a practical, ownership-heavy position. You will manage QOVES’ social media channels on a daily basis, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. The role covers posting, scheduling, community engagement, and ensuring every public response aligns with the brand’s voice. That voice is intentionally cool, restrained, concise, confident, and slightly detached. It should never feel overly warm, eager, or emoji-heavy. If that style does not come naturally to you, this role is unlikely to suit you.
Content creation will also be a major part of the job, but the emphasis is on internal communications rather than social-first content. You will capture team activity, company announcements, project updates, and behind-the-scenes moments to help keep the wider organisation informed and aligned.
In addition, you will work closely with the Head of Strategy & Partnerships on cross-functional initiatives, helping to coordinate tasks, monitor progress, and make sure important deliverables are completed to a high standard.
The company is looking for someone with strong creative judgment, a sense of taste, and the ability to protect and grow a premium brand at scale.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily activity across QOVES’ social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Plan, schedule, and publish content while keeping the calendar organised and on track.
- Respond to and moderate community interactions in a way that matches the brand’s distinctive tone.
- Create internal communications content covering team updates, company news, milestones, and behind-the-scenes activity.
- Collaborate with the Head of Strategy & Partnerships on cross-functional projects and operational follow-through.
- Track task progress and help ensure key deliverables are completed to a high standard.
- Maintain a premium brand presence across all social channels.
Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of experience in social media management and content creation.
- A mandatory portfolio demonstrating accounts managed, content produced, and growth achieved.
- Proven ability to write and maintain a specific, restrained brand voice rather than generic high-engagement content.
- Good awareness of current social media trends and how to adapt them to a premium brand without losing its identity.
- Comfortable appearing on camera or directing on-camera talent.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple platforms, deadlines, and a content calendar independently.
- Genuine interest in beauty, aesthetics, AI, or appearance-related content.
- Experience with premium, luxury, or tech brands is preferred.
- Graphic design capability using tools such as Figma, Canva, or Adobe Suite is a plus.
- Experience working with influencers or creators, including briefing, coordination, and tracking, is advantageous.
- Ability to analyse social performance and report on growth metrics is beneficial.
Perks and benefits
- Competitive base salary, dependent on experience.
- Bonus opportunity.
- Pension contribution.
- Opportunity to join a profitable, fast-growing company with a large existing audience.
- High visibility from day one, with content reaching a wide audience immediately.
- Close collaboration with a strong creative team.
- Real ownership over how the brand appears across social media.
Location and working arrangement
