Job description
About the Company
portier is an Australian lifestyle label focused on reimagining modern parenting through thoughtfully made products that blend practical use with refined design. The brand is gaining strong traction across Australia and is also expanding into overseas markets.
About the Role
This position suits a creative marketer who can also think strategically. The role involves carrying content from initial idea through to final publication, including planning, producing, filming, editing and posting material that feels true to the portier identity and speaks to its audience.
You will work directly with the Founder and the Head of Marketing to oversee social channels, manage the content schedule and deliver engaging assets for product introductions, campaigns, events, founder-led content and collaborations with creators.
Key Duties
- Shape and run the organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Develop concepts, produce, film and edit content for Reels, TikToks, Stories and campaign rollouts.
- Take ownership of the content calendar while contributing new concepts, trend-led ideas and creative directions.
- Source, coordinate and maintain relationships with creators for gifting and paid collaborations.
- Participate in community engagement and ensure every response and interaction aligns with the portier voice.
- Track performance, prepare reporting and use insights to improve the content approach over time.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant brings 3–5+ years of experience in social media and content production, preferably within fashion, lifestyle or another premium consumer brand. A portfolio is required and should clearly show work that was personally conceived, filmed and edited by the candidate.
Strong video editing ability is essential, with experience in CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or comparable tools. The role also calls for a refined sense of styling, visual narrative and premium brand presentation, along with prior experience working with influencers and content creators. The right person will be proactive, highly organised and full of fresh ideas.
Why Join portier
- Be part of a fast-growing Australian brand with meaningful international momentum.
- Work closely with the Founder and Head of Marketing and make a direct contribution to the brand's growth.
- Join a team that values creativity, collaboration and ambition.
- Enjoy a beautiful Port Melbourne office with free on-site parking.
- Grow your career as the business continues to expand.
Application Requirements
Applicants should submit a resume along with a creative portfolio featuring examples of content they have personally created. The portfolio should demonstrate creativity, editing style and work they are especially proud of.
