About the role
Edikted is hiring a highly inventive, trend-aware Social Media Content Creator to join its expanding Marketing & Creative team. The ideal person is immersed in internet culture, understands the Gen-Z fashion space, and can produce content that captures attention while also driving engagement, site traffic, and community growth.
You will be responsible for developing, filming, editing, and posting original content across TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, and other emerging channels. The role is practical and creator-led, suited to someone who is equally confident on camera and behind it, and who can turn trends into brand-appropriate content quickly in a fast-fashion environment.
What you'll do
- Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos and static creative for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and related platforms.
- Create reactive, trend-based content that uses viral sounds, formats, and cultural moments in a timely way.
- Produce content from the office environment, including behind-the-scenes moments, styling coverage, and product storytelling.
- Develop try-on hauls, styling edits, trend explainers, and content that supports campaign launches.
- Track fashion, pop culture, and internet trends closely, then turn those insights into aligned content concepts.
- Review content performance indicators such as views, engagement, saves, and shares, and refine future output accordingly.
- Work with Social, Creative, and Design teams to keep content aligned with seasonal releases and campaigns.
- Present weekly content ideas informed by data and trending topics.
- Make sure all creative reflects Edikted’s bold, confident, Gen-Z style.
- Assist with influencer collaborations and creator partnerships.
- Contribute to community building through authentic and relatable storytelling.
- Be open to travel as part of the role.
Requirements
- At least 2–4+ years of experience producing content for fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
- A strong portfolio or active social presence that shows successful short-form content.
- Working knowledge of CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or comparable editing tools.
- Strong familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and newer social platforms.
- Comfortable appearing on camera; experience with modeling or styling is a plus.
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills and the capacity to deliver content at pace.
- Genuine enthusiasm for Gen-Z fashion, micro-trends, and online culture.
