Role overview
Univacity is looking for a creative Social Media Content Creator to strengthen its marketing efforts. In this role, you will shape, publish, and oversee content across the company’s social channels, helping grow audience engagement, highlight the brand, and direct more visitors to the website.
What you will do
- Build and run a social media content plan that supports Univacity’s marketing objectives.
- Produce engaging, original, and platform-appropriate content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Organize and maintain a content calendar to keep posting consistent.
- Work closely with the marketing and design teams to create attractive graphics, videos, and other multimedia assets.
- Track social media trends, tools, and platform updates and use relevant insights to improve the strategy.
- Reply to comments, messages, and other audience interactions promptly and professionally.
- Review performance data from social media and prepare regular reports to help improve reach and engagement.
- Keep current with emerging trends and proven practices in social media and content marketing.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience in a Social Media Content Creator role or a comparable position.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates content creation ability.
- Comfort using major social platforms and understanding how their algorithms work.
- Excellent writing and speaking skills.
- A creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh content ideas.
- Hands-on experience with design and video-editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- Good time management and the ability to handle several projects at once.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and website traffic metrics is an added advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Nigeria.
