Role summary
The team is seeking a hands-on Social Media Content Creator for the ABCmouse social media function. This person should move fast, think creatively, and transform ideas into timely content from concept through post-production.
The job centers on developing original, entertaining, and culturally relevant social content that strengthens brand awareness among millennial parents across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.

- You understand short-form editing and the importance of the opening seconds of a video.
- You can produce ideas into video content 5 to 7 times each week.
Responsibilities
- Develop, shoot, and edit social-first content such as short-form videos, photos, and graphics for specific platform needs.
- Take part in brainstorming sessions for social video concepts, including contributing copy and visual direction.
- Edit content optimized for short-form social platforms.
- Lead video shoots from planning through wrap-up, including talent coordination, crew oversight, and on-set production support.
- Work with the social media director to evaluate strategy and performance data, then adjust content as needed.
- Occasionally appear on camera for short-form pieces and may sometimes work in character costume.
- Be available for up to 15% travel for location-based shoots.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience creating branded social media content.
- Strong working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Good understanding of trends, platform requirements, and the culture unique to each social platform.
- Hands-on editing experience in Adobe Premiere Pro, including shared project workflows and media organization.
- Ability to capture high-quality video using production tools such as cameras, microphones, and lighting equipment.
- Experience working with brand partners and following brand guidelines.
- Background in managing production crews and on-camera talent.
- Ability to work from the Glendale office 2 to 3 days per week for collaboration and filming.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with scheduling tools such as Later, Sprout, or Statusbrew.
- Familiarity with influencer talent and affiliate partnerships.
- Prior experience supporting child, family, or parenting brands.
- Basic design skills using Canva and Adobe Photoshop.
Compensation and benefits
The expected salary for this role is between USD 90,000 and USD 100,000 per year, with the final offer depending on factors such as skills, knowledge, experience, and location.
