About the Role
At Southern Proper Hospitality Group, every dining location tells a unique story. We seek a dynamic storyteller skilled at creating captivating content that motivates guests to visit and experience our restaurants. This role involves hands-on work within our establishments, capturing the essence of our food, staff, and atmosphere to showcase each concept authentically.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce, shoot, edit, and publish compelling content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
- Comfortably operate both behind and occasionally in front of the camera when narratives require.
- Craft authentic narratives that feature our personnel, cuisine, drinks, and hospitality.
- Maintain a well-organized archive of photos, videos, and creative materials for campaign use.
- Design and implement social media strategies tailored to different restaurant brands, coordinating with the Marketing Director on campaigns, openings, and promotions.
- Stay updated on social media trends and determine fitting creative opportunities that align with each brand's identity.
- Manage influencer relationships and partnerships, including recruitment, coordination, and performance evaluation.
- Engage with online communities by responding to feedback and collaborating with internal teams to enrich storytelling.
- Attend events and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends to cover peak service moments and special occasions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality, or a related area.
- Between 2 and 5 years of experience producing content for restaurants, hospitality, food & beverage, lifestyle, or consumer-focused brands.
- Natural storytelling ability with strong creative judgment.
- Advanced skills in photography, videography, and editing of short-form videos, ideally with professional photography practice.
- Confidence both behind the camera and occasionally as on-screen talent.
- Keen eye for special moments that represent the character of each restaurant.
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and multitasking skills in a high-paced environment.
- Deep familiarity with major social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
- Availability to work irregular hours corresponding to restaurant peak times and events.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable access to transportation for traveling between locations.
- Enthusiasm for culinary arts, hospitality, and enhancing guest experiences.
Additional Details
This role reports directly to the Marketing Director and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. Regular travel among restaurant sites is required. Candidates should be flexible to work during busy hours including weekends and special events to capture vital content.
