About YES DAY
YES DAY is a rapidly expanding skincare brand crafted for tweens and teens, offering dermatologist-approved products clinically tested on ages 10 and up. The brand aims to make skincare enjoyable, safe, and confidence-enhancing. Currently, YES DAY is growing its presence across various platforms including direct-to-consumer channels, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Urban Outfitters, and other retail partners.
Role Overview
We seek a highly creative and detail-oriented Social Media & Content Manager passionate about content creation. This role involves close collaboration with the Head of Marketing & Partnerships to implement YES DAY's social media strategy through engaging content, community handling, influencer collaborations, and platform expansion. The position is hands-on, managing daily activities on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat and supporting product launches, creator partnerships, retail activations, and brand events.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily social media management on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat.
- Plan and execute the social content calendar effectively.
- Create, edit, and publish both photo and video assets.
- Produce short-form and long-form videos, including YouTube Shorts.
- Manage audience engagement and uphold the brand’s voice online.
- Collaborate on influencer campaigns with the marketing leadership.
- Implement and oversee initiatives that generate user-created content.
- Monitor performance analytics and deliver monthly reports with actionable insights.
- Support paid social campaigns by producing compelling content to drive success.
Qualifications
- Residency in the Los Angeles area is mandatory.
- Ability to work onsite for content shoots, meetings, and events.
- Availability to travel domestically and internationally, including multiple trips annually to Paris and other European cities.
- Possession of a valid passport for international travel.
- 3 to 5+ years’ experience in social media, preferably within beauty, skincare, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
- Expertise in Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat platforms.
- Strong skills in copywriting, storytelling, photography, videography, and content editing.
- Proven experience managing influencer marketing efforts.
- Highly organized and proactive, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced startup setting.
Additional Preferred Skills
- Experience with TYB, Superfiliate, and ShopMy platforms.
- Utilization of AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to streamline creative processes.
- Background in beauty, skincare, or lifestyle brand marketing is advantageous.
