Role summary
This part-time Social Media Assistant position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia and follows a hybrid setup with both remote and on-site work. The role supports a content creator with day-to-day operations, creative coordination, administrative tasks, and production support.
What you will do
- Manage and update the content schedule across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, including posting rhythm, collaboration deadlines, and series planning.
- Coordinate the creator’s personal calendar alongside the content plan, including shoot dates, travel, and delivery timelines.
- Prepare weekly performance summaries using Meta Business Suite analytics.
- Develop video concepts, contribute creative ideas, and speak up when an idea does not align with the brand.
- Monitor TikTok and Instagram for new audio trends, formats, and creator patterns, and share emerging opportunities before they become saturated.
- Oversee affiliate platforms such as ShopMy, LTK, and Amazon Storefront, including link uploads, collection updates, and monthly reviews.
- Support shoots on location when needed.
- Handle additional ad hoc tasks as assigned.
What makes a strong fit
Ideal candidates have worked with a creator, talent agency, or brand partnerships team, or have built their own content brand. A background in marketing is useful, along with a genuine interest in interiors, design, travel, and technology. You should be highly familiar with TikTok and Instagram trend cycles, comfortable using Notion or a similar tool, and confident in staying organized. A valid driver’s license is required. The role also calls for strong curiosity, initiative, and a practical approach to problem solving.
