Role Overview
This position is focused on establishing and expanding the company’s social media footprint in Germany and across Europe as the brand enters these markets. The role combines strategy, content leadership, community growth, and influencer marketing, with a strong emphasis on bringing EV technology, innovation, and lifestyle stories to life in a way that fits the global brand direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the brand’s social presence across Germany and Europe from the early market-entry stage and help it scale over time.
- Plan and implement social media and content strategies that stay aligned with the company’s global positioning.
- Set up major social channels, define the purpose of each platform, and choose suitable content formats.
- Own influencer and creator marketing by building partnerships, managing collaborations, and measuring outcomes.
- Design content ideas and campaigns centered on EV technology, innovation, and lifestyle themes.
- Coordinate content production, editorial calendars, and collaborations with agencies and external creators.
- Track social and influencer performance metrics, improve engagement, and respond to community input.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure all social content follows relevant compliance requirements.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in social media, content marketing, or digital communications, preferably in automotive, EV, technology, or lifestyle environments.
- Demonstrated success in creating and delivering social media strategies and content campaigns across multiple channels.
- Hands-on experience with influencer and creator partnerships, including collaboration planning and performance analysis.
- Solid knowledge of content development, editorial planning, and managing agencies or external creatives.
- Ability to turn technical subjects such as EV features and innovation into clear, engaging social storytelling.
- A data-oriented approach with experience analyzing social KPIs, audience engagement, and community insights.
- Strong communication, creativity, and project coordination skills, with an ability to preserve a consistent brand tone.
- Fluency in both English and German is required; Mandarin is considered a plus.
