Role overview

Xiaomi Technology is hiring a Senior Retail Marketing Manager in Munich to help shape and drive retail marketing for the launch and growth of Xiaomi vehicles in Germany. This position sits at the intersection of brand, sales, and customer experience, with a strong focus on converting marketing strategy into in-store and event-led actions that generate traffic, leads, test drives, and sales.

What you will do

  • Create and implement retail marketing plans that support vehicle launch activities and accelerate sales in the German market.
  • Organize and deliver a wide range of retail events, including new store openings, test-drive experiences, roadshows, product demonstrations, and customer-facing activations.
  • Take ownership of B2B event planning and execution for fleet buyers, leasing firms, corporate accounts, partners, and other industry participants.
  • Connect brand objectives with commercial goals by turning overall brand direction into retail campaigns that help attract customers and drive vehicle sales.
  • Work in close coordination with Sales, Retail Operations, and Dealer/Partner teams to keep execution aligned across every customer interaction point.
  • Design initiatives aimed at increasing showroom footfall, test-drive volume, lead creation, conversion performance, and broader retail results.
  • Localize global marketing initiatives for Germany while preserving the consistency of the Xiaomi brand.
  • Oversee budgets, agencies, and external vendors to ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Measure, review, and communicate retail and event marketing outcomes using relevant KPIs and business metrics.

What we are looking for

  • A bachelor’s or master’s qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in retail management, sales operations, or customer experience roles, preferably in automotive, electric vehicles, or consumer technology.
  • Strong grasp of modern retail models, omnichannel customer journeys, and technology-enabled sales environments.
  • Hands-on experience rolling out standardized sales processes, retail standards, and customer experience frameworks across multiple locations.
  • Comfort working with digital sales tools, CRM platforms, and data-led customer engagement methods.
  • Ability to explain complex EV, software, and charging features in a way that feels clear and engaging for retail customers.
  • Strong analytical ability, including the use of retail KPIs and customer feedback to support ongoing improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Fluency in English and German is required; Mandarin would be an advantage.
