This hybrid position requires someone who not only strategizes but also actively creates content, reporting directly to the Editor in Chief. The ideal candidate is deeply connected to contemporary culture and adept at transforming editorial material into social media content tailored for each platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms, respecting their unique dynamics.
- Convert editorial stories into engaging, platform-specific social content.
- Create briefs, oversee photo/video shoots, and personally manage content creation, editing, and publishing as needed.
- Generate innovative content concepts independently, rather than waiting for direction.
- Oversee daily content production while aligning with long-term social media goals.
- Collaborate closely with editorial, creative, marketing, and partnership teams on various campaigns.
- Stay abreast of cultural trends in media, dining, publishing, and events to guide content planning.

- At least 7 years of experience in social media management, preferably at a Senior Manager level or higher.
- Demonstrated success in growing social media channels with measurable outcomes.
- Strong editorial insight combined with an intuitive understanding of cultural trends.
- Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and practical implementation levels.
- Experience collaborating tightly with editorial and creative departments.
