Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised support for daily activities, community involvement, and independent living skills.
- Champion dignity, freedom of choice, and active involvement in line with New Directions guidelines.
- Assist service users with personal care, effective communication, and emotional health.
- Participate as a Key Worker contributing to tailored personal plans.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Keep accurate records compliant with HIQA standards and company policies.
- Support safeguarding, risk reporting, and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Collaborate harmoniously within a warm and respectful team environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Qualification at Level 7 or higher in Applied Social Care or another CORU-recognized field.
- Mandatory CORU registration or proof of application by November 30, 2025, as prescribed by the Social Care Workers Registration Board.
- Completion of a recognized qualification route or validated prior learning/professional competence assessment.
- Valid, clean driving licence with at least two years of driving experience.
- Strong dedication to supporting individuals with disabilities.
Additional Requirements
- Successful applicants will undergo Garda Vetting by the National Vetting Bureau.
