Role Summary
We are inviting applications from motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Social Care Administrators. This role involves handling administrative tasks in Nua's residential homes and is suitable for candidates with a strong interest in administration, precision, and organizational skills. Comprehensive training and development will be provided to all successful applicants.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Management Team and relevant departments by providing administrative support.
- Help prepare daily task briefs and assist in allocating duties in coordination with management.
- Manage and schedule health-related appointments for individuals.
- Collaborate with PIC, Deputy Managers, and Key Workers to update Individual Risk Management Plans.
- Maintain and distribute documents such as Daily Planners, Key Working Sessions, and Health or Behavioral Checks as necessary.
- Ensure Key Workers and support staff complete Individual Finance Checklists accurately.
- Maintain updated, well-organized, and neat files.
- Transcribe and upload team meeting minutes to SharePoint.
- Complete all Incident, Accident, and Daily Reports for the prior week.
- Ensure that designated personnel conduct fire drills regularly.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must possess a qualification at NFQ Level 6 or above in healthcare or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in social care or a healthcare-related setting.
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of the social care or health sector.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, including report writing skills.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Prior administrative experience is essential.
- Proficient in IT, especially MS Office applications.
