About the Role
Join Veterinary Care Point Chev as a full-time Small Animal Veterinarian based in Point Chevalier, Auckland. This role involves collaborating with a team of dedicated veterinarians and nurses, focusing exclusively on small animals. You will manage a diverse caseload comprising consultations, surgeries, and dental care within a supportive environment. The position offers approximately 31 hours per week on a four-day roster, plus participation in a shared Saturday morning rotation from 9 AM to 12 PM. There are no after-hours, Sunday, or public holiday shifts, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
About Us
Our organization has provided quality care to Auckland's pets for more than 20 years across three fully equipped clinics: Point Chevalier, Balmoral, and Royal Oak. Our facilities include advanced in-house diagnostics, digital and dental radiography, and ultrasound services, with a dedicated ultrasound referral team at Point Chev. We promote comprehensive clinical evaluations and provide robust clinical support with straightforward access to referral centers when specialized care is necessary.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience as a Small Animal Veterinarian with solid general practice skills.
- Competence in consultations, routine surgeries, and dental procedures.
- Interest or experience in ultrasound is advantageous.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- A veterinary qualification recognized in New Zealand.
- International veterinarians? Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are available if eligible.
